Background & Experience
Clients don’t come to a lawyer just for legal analysis. They come for solutions. Josh Thatcher approaches his practice with that in mind, focusing on practical, results-driven strategies that help clients move forward. Josh maintains a diverse practice with substantial experience across civil litigation, business transactions, real estate, construction, and probate matters. He works with individuals, businesses, and public entities to solve problems, resolve disputes, and move matters forward efficiently. Within the firm, Josh is often asked to assist on complex and high stakes matters, where his ability to quickly identify key issues and develop clear strategies is particularly valuable. He regularly serves as outside counsel to small and growing businesses, advising on entity formation, governance, contracts, and a wide range of operational matters. His ability to both guide day to day business decisions and litigate disputes that arise from those decisions provides clients with a comprehensive and practical approach.
Before becoming an attorney, Josh worked as a commercial framer in the construction industry. That experience gave him a strong work ethic and a real world perspective that continues to shape his practice. Josh understands that clients often come to him on one of the most difficult days of their lives, and his background allows him to relate to their situation, understand what is at stake, and help them move forward with practical, effective solutions.
Interests
Outside of his practice, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and their three boys, who keep life busy, active, and entertaining. While they may have come up short in their attempts to add a girl to the mix (so far), he would not have it any other way. He enjoys sports, traveling, and being outdoors, especially fly fishing and making the most of time spent with his family.
