Mr. Utley has been practicing in St. George, Utah since 1996. Mr. Utley practices in the areas of civil litigation, estate planning, probate, trust administration, personal injury, real property, adoption, family law and guardianships. In addition, Mr. Utley has significant experience in transactional work, which includes business formation, contracts, and commercial leasing. At the University of Kansas, he received the Am Jur Award for Wills and Trusts. Mr. Utley has represented a diverse clientele. His clientele has included individuals, businesses (large and small), real estate brokerages and insurance companies.

COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
Mr. Utley currently serves as a Small Claims Judge Pro Tempore (since 2000) and has been appointed by the Utah Supreme Court to serve on the Utah State Bar Ethics and Disciplinary Committee where he served for two terms. Mr. Utley is a past president and board member of the Southern Utah Bar Association. Mr. Utley is an approved new lawyer mentor and mentored numerous new attorneys. As a law student, Mr. Utley served as president of University of Kansas chapter of The Federalist Society.
HOBBIES & ACTIVITIES
Mr. Utley is an avid fly-fisherman and amateur astronomer. Following his interest, Mr. Utley co-founded the Southern Utah Astronomical Society and is a board member of the Southern Utah Anglers Association. Mr. Utley is a board member of the Southern Utah Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) for the Utah Division of Wildlife.
